The Reopening of Thailand is Finally Here
It has just become much easier to enter Thailand.
They are eliminating the "Thailand Pass" paperwork process and will offer Visas upon arrival starting July 1, 2022.
Tourists will be broken up into 2 groups: those with proof of vaccination and those without.
Vaccinated travelers with proof of vaccination can hit the ground running. It will no longer be required to buy health insurance coverage. No longer required to take pre-departure and on-arrival PCR tests. No longer required to stay at SHA+ hotels. Masks are also no longer required outdoors (only indoors and in crowds). You only need to show proof of vaccination on arrival.
Travelers with no proof of vaccination will need to show a negative COVID test result. Proof of negative test results should be on hand when you arrive.
